
Managing Director
Peter was appointed Managing Director in September 2007.
Peter first joined O’Brien in 2001 as Sales Director. During his initial 2 years with O’Brien he made significant progress with the business in a tough and competitive environment.
In 2003 Peter accepted the position of Sales Director with our UK based business Autoglass, which, together with O’Brien forms part of Belron, the world’s largest vehicle glass repair and replacement company. In 2004 Peter took on the additional responsibility for the Marketing function becoming Sales & Marketing Director before returning to Australia in 2007.
Prior to joining Belron, Peter spent 10 years in the IT industry in various senior management positions and five years with one of Australia's largest insurance companies.
Peter has a teaching degree from Sydney University.
Finance Director
Ahmad joined the O’Brien team in November 2002 as Chief Financial Officer and IT Director.
In his role, Ahmad is responsible for Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Customer Accounting Services, Internal Audit, Property & Risk Management, Legal and IT. He is also a Director of the O’Brien group of companies.
Early in his career Ahmad held a number of financial and commercial roles in various organisations including National Australia Bank, Uniliver, Australian National Industries, Arnott’s and Unisy. Prior to joining O’Brien Ahmad, held the position of Financial Controller of the South Pacific Division at Compaq/Hewlett Packard.
Ahmad is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Management studies.
Human Resources Director
Jo joined the O'Brien team in April 2005 as Human Resources Director.
Jo is responsible for developing Human Resources Strategy, and for implementing HR initiatives that support the achievement of the long term and annual business plans of O'Brien.
Jo commenced her career as a HR/IR trainee with BHP and before spending over seven years in senior HR roles with large international Defence organisations. Underpinning her 19 years of HR experience, Jo holds a BA with majors in Psychology and Organisational Behaviour.

Operations Director – Building Glass
Mark was appointed Operations Director of O’Brien®’s Building Glass division in October 2009, and as such, is responsible for leading the HSO Operations team and the ongoing development of our Service Delivery strategy to best meet the needs of O’Brien®’s current and future customers.
Mark first joined O’Brien® in March 2006 as Regional Operations Manager before assuming the position of Central Operations Manager in May 2008. Prior to O’Brien®, Mark gained 13 years experience in operations management in various senior roles with Ausdoc Information Management and Boral Construction Materials, and has completed extensive tertiary studies in Business Management throughout his career.
Marketing Director
Duncan was appointed Marketing Director of O’Brien in March 2001, following the consolidation of the company’s Automotive and Building Glass divisions.
Prior to that, he was Marketing Manager of the Building Glass division which he joined as a Product Manager after migrating to Australia from South Africa in December 1986.
Earlier in his career Duncan held various marketing management positions in the shop fitting and timber industries in South Africa.
In his current role he is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategy including advertising and promotions and pricing.
Duncan graduated as an Industrial Designer before undertaking studies in business and marketing.
Supply & Distribution Director
Nick was appointed Supply & Distribution Director in March 2009.
In his role Nick is responsible for leading the O'Brien® Supply & Distribution team and shaping our Supply Chain Strategy in order to meet both the current and future needs of our business.
In assuming this role Nick has relocated from the United Kingdom where he has held senior roles with the Insurance Division of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), responsible for such activities as national contract negotiation, supplier performance management, supply chain strategy and strategic supplier partnerships. Prior to RBS Nick spent many years with Visteon (Ford) in their European parts supply and distribution business.
